​Barbara J. Zucker is a Gallery Director and Art Consultant who lives and works in Maine and Pennsylvania, where she loves to explore and paint "...nature's story constantly intrigues me... fills me with a sense of nature's mystery, power and beauty." Her paintings are generally done in series, providing an opportunity to discover and convey variations in nature's color, shape and texture. She studied at Ursinius College, Temple University and L'Academia di Belle Art.

Barbara J. Zucker paints contemporary landscapes in acrylic on canvas and paper. She lives and works in a lovely, wooded area in Pennsylvania and spends summers in Corea, Maine. She formerly taught painting and drawing at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA, was Gallery Director at View Point LLC Arts and Events House in Lederach, PA and currently coordinates the Gallery at the Community Music School in Trappe, PA. She is President Emerita of Philadelphia/Tri State Artists Equity and has been Exhibition Chair of that organization for the past sixteen years. Her paintings are in the permanent collections of The Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College, The Reading Public Museum, Woodmere Art Museum, Rosemont College, and numerous other public and private collections in Pennsylvania and elsewhere. She is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who of American Women. Her most recent solo shows were at the Eisenhower Theater Gallery at West Point, NY, the Montgomery County Community College West Campus Gallery in Pottstown, PA and the Community Music School.
A forty-year retrospective of Barbara's paintings was exhibited at the Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA.
